Shelters and rescues can request founder-led pilot access. Anyone can explore the available consumer discovery state without an account. Fixture profiles cannot accept applications; external source profiles send people to the source organization's real listing. A separate organization-scoped WhiskerMatch listing can accept an application only when an eligible shelter has published an available animal and the backend is configured.

Working today: the shelter workspace, a gated public adoption page a single organization can publish to, a tested connection to an outside listing source (RescueGroups), stable source pages, and the adopter-facing tools for discovery, fit, saved items, lost-and-found drafts, and personal care notes. This environment has no live listing source connected yet, so live coverage is unverified. Shared adopter accounts, messaging, notifications, a production map, public report sharing, durable listing sync, and payments are not connected. And there are no customer logos, testimonials, or outcome numbers to claim yet.

No consumer subscription or paid member dashboard is offered in this build. Exploring fixture or externally sourced profiles is free. When an eligible organization publishes a WhiskerMatch listing, viewing it and submitting its application do not require payment to WhiskerMatch; external organizations control their own inquiry and placement process.

The illustrative profiles under /discover and /pets do not accept applications. A real organization-scoped listing under /adopt can accept an adoption application when its shelter, animal, published profile, and backend are all eligible and configured. A shared adopter account and a public foster-enrollment workflow do not exist yet.

There is no live reviewer network to claim today. Any future medical, behavior, or care education would require relevant credentials, identity checks, domain matching, clear attribution, and accountable human review before publication.

It is fit-based and intentionally small by design. Partners are carried when the product holds up to scrutiny and stays in lane. Partner participation does not change animal ranking.
